For the past six months of being away from Iloilo, I missed a lot of events, restaurant openings and “iba pang mga ganap”. Though I got the chance to explore the nation’s capital region and see many places, I missed Iloilo and being around it. For years, you have been part of my journey and it’s just great to be back home. Very overwhelming for the love and support.
It’s definitely summer and it’s so hot, so when we don’t feel like staying at home, we sometimes go out. And I’m back for my foodtrips! One of the new restaurants I’ve seen on Facebook that’s new here is this Vietnamese resto named Troi Oi. I got the chance to meet the owner there who also owns Esplanade Uno, but I forgot to ask what the name of their resto means.
Very Asian indeed, the place looks unique and colorful! The dishes were served fast. From the ambiance, presentation of food and the flavors, I’m impressed. Truly something worth discovering and visiting with family and friends if you want to east something Asian.
Beef Noodle soup, serving is great. Pwede for 2 or more.
Fried pancake with veggie and other fillings.
Chicken Wings, a bit spicy!
For dessert, Pudding and Mango Sago!
Troi Oi is located at the Riverside Boardwalk beside the Esplanade.
