On the last day of our Manggad sang Antique Heritage and Adventure Tour by Katahum.com, we got to experience the basic training for kayaking in Tibiao. The weather was quite fine when we got there at around 8 in the morning. It would drizzle a little at times but it won’t stop us from experiencing this ultimate adventure.
Upon arriving, we got to try the gears and pick the ones that fit well onto us.
After choosing the protective gears to be used, Eric of Byahilo.com and I had some photo ops. The previous photos above simply show how breathtaking the place was.
Ate Gael of MyPinaySoloBackpacker.com still enjoying the green rambutans from the Calawag Farm.
We then rode the van up to the “safe area” for our brief kayaking training.
Our personal guides were also there to help us.
Photo-ops before trying the actual kayaking.
It was fun playing around while trying to learn it. The area was very much ideal for this training though I couldn’t really control where I was going most especially in the area where the water was flowing down.
After conquering the first stage, it was time to enjoy the Kawa. These were used to make sugar in the past but now their purpose is to warm us up after the kayaking.
