This is Iloilo

San Jose Parish Church – where the image of Sr. Sto. Niño was first brought in 1968 as the start of the Dinagyang festival.

Originally, I made these photo layouts as contribution for the “It’s got to be Iloilo” promotional tourism tag line of the Regional DOT for the province (I just don’t know if the city is part of that), but since it’s not yet finalized and as compared to the Dumaguete tag line (read my post below), I got this interesting tagline “This is Iloilo” from Discover Panay Is. by Hawili Hurom.
If we want to “sell” Iloilo to other tourists, why should we use a tagline that’s not even sure (“It’s got to be?”). I hope the DOT can come up with a few more taglines for this campaign. If I were to suggest one for them this would definitely be it: “This is Iloilo”.
No more etsetera. 3 words that simply focus on Iloilo.
