I woke up early to see what’s interesting in the beachfront. We were in a private residence in San Dionesio, one of the towns in Northern Iloilo that was not also spared from the ravage that was brought by typhoon Yolanda recently. Though months have passed, destruction of trees and some houses can still be seen.
Even this house where we stayed at was also damaged. Now it’s ok. It’s too lucky and strategically situated in an elevated part of the beachfront a few steps away from the beach. The other houses situated below have been washed away. Despite the situation, I still felt the need of being in that specific place at that particular time. It was our perfect getaway from the city.
Not only that the owners are nature-lovers, they also take time to beautify their place in such amazing ways.
At lowtide, the place looks more photogenic.
Away from home, I spent time worrying about nothing just what to do next when I got back.
