“Sinadya sa Halaran” is a commemoration of the feast of the patroness of Roxas City which is the Immaculate Conception. Last December 7, Capiznons and spectators witnessed the Fluvial Parade at the Panay river that ended under the historic Roxas City bridge. A crane raised the religious image onto the bridge for the start of the Marcha de Maria. But before the march began, it was serenaded by a girl and crowned by a boy. The fireworks display added more enchantment as colorfully lit floaters that resemble Capiz as the Seafood Capital of the Philippines gave more attraction to the annual event.
