Grand Tower Suites

Woke up around 6 in the morning at the 5th floor of The Grand Tower Suites in Iznart street with some of my closest high school friends from WVCST Lab. School. Pardon me for the quality of pics that I have here since my digicam’s board corroded after it got wet inside my bag. Outside the windows were these spectacular view of Iznart st., Amigo Mall and Hotel, SM Delgado, part of Robinson’s Place Iloilo and the on-going construction of the Go Hotel and the Cross at Guimaras Island’s Balaan Bukid that faces Iloilo City.

The better view from the 7th floor.
On my left stood the City Hall, the Post Office (Aduana) and San Jose Parish Church.
Bisan diin ka tuod nga angle ma tulok sa Iloilo River, the view is always breathtaking and spectacular.
The great Iloilo River glitters as the morning sun shines on top of it. Far right, the two red gothic spires grace the skyline of old Parian which is now Molo.
Down below is the site where the Grand Imperial Hotel will soon rise. I’m glad that it’s a holiday, te wala damo bakbakanay sng piles eh. Haha. When the hotel is done, I’m just excited to climb on top of it to see the rest of the city proper’s view down below. From the City Hall roofdeck it will be another tall structure that will add beauty to Iloilo. There’s just so many on-going constructions around Iloilo that excite us all. Some of which are the Injap 21 Condominium in front of SM City Iloilo, Go Hotel at Robinson’s Place Iloilo, the Uptown Place in front of Sarabia Manor Hotel, Richmonde Hotel and the Festive Walk by Megaworld at the Old Airport and the list goes on.

The Atrium Mall and Days Hotel Iloilo.
Iznart st., the Arroyo fountain and the Provincial Capitol.
It was indeed a great time to be with friends to catch up with one another and celebrate Almira’s bday.
She and her mom prepared these delectable food for all of us.
Until next time.
