DoVa at Iloilo Business Park

One of the newly-opened restaurants at the Iloilo Business Park is Dova Brunch Cafe. Chef Miguel Cordova, famed Ilonggo restaurateur and caterer recently invited some bloggers, columnists and friends for an afternoon get-together over their well-known and new dishes to offer.

Dining at Dova’s first branch in La Paz across the plaza has always been a delightful experience. With familiar flavors and newest addition plus the bigger venue to host more patrons, I have always been looking forward to dining in thier new branch here considering that Iloilo Business Park is one of Megaworld’s biggest investments in the country. If its the city’s new forefront to the world, surely we would expect Iloilo City’s best dishes to be served in the area.

Chef Miguel revealed that he comes from a family of cooks and butchers (Jardeleza) on the other side and started with the help of his friends and took short courses in Manila and New York even after opening Afrique’s Gourmet Restauant in 2002. In 2008, he also took up formal culinary school. After making a trademark in the local culinary scene, his establishment of Esca’s Garden restaurant as a top venue for functions and with the busy schedule for catering, Chef Miguel has become an icon. He never stops in getting inspiration from the culture and trends of the places that he always visits like Seam Reap and Phomn Phen in Cambodia.

Now he continues to serve heart-warming and delectable dishes most especially at Dova Brunch Cafe.
