AMPR’s Ana Manansala took me to the City of Dreams on a Sunday afternoon. Located at Paranaque City on Aseana Avenue cor. Roxas Blvd, it has been one of the places that I really dreamed of seeing. More attractions are being built in this reclamation part of Metro Manila called the Entertainment City in the past few years and this integrated resort-casino destination has opened many doors & opportunities for leisure and gaming rivaling other destinations such as Macau.
When we arrived, I said “this is it!” I’ve never imagined myself being so excited in visiting an entertainment city, more specifically a casino. But all the other attractions that are also in it truly makes the complex worth visiting. Since I found out that one of my high school friends works there and after seeing other blog posts about it, I’ve always looked forward to be there.
From the carpark, we went inside via the Main entrance and we were in for a grand welcome. The entrance lobby alone has several interesting spots for photo ops such as the Siren’s Waterfalls. The Casino which is COD’s main attraction is located on the center (Centerplay, High Limit, Signature Club and Mass Gaming). Premium and Casual Dining venues such as The Tasting Room, Crystal Lounge and Signature Dining are located on the left side of the main building near the lobby of Crowne Hotel. The Nobu Tea House and Noodl8 are situated beside the entrance to Nobu Hotel across the main entrance while The Cafe and Hyatt Lobby Lounge are located between the entrance to Hyatt Hotel.
We went up and saw more people going around, posh coffee shops and a few contemparary restaurants filled with guests. High-end stores such as Rolex, Hugo Boss, Mont Blanc, Hermes, Piaget and Roberto Cavalli are also situated on the Upper Ground floor.
For a sophisticated nightlife, Chaos and Pangea Ultra-Lounge are the places to be in City of Dreams. Truly fit for the elite, these destinations offer an unparalleled nighlife
One of the top attractions is Dreamplay. It’s a big hit, most especially for children. Characters from the movies Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, How to train your Dragon, Toys stories and more can be found here in life-size forms.
